About

Briley Monet Jozwiak is a multidisciplinary artist based in Portland, Oregon, whose work lives at the intersection of movement, image, and story. Her creative practice spans dance, performance, modeling, acting, and film—each discipline shaped by a deep, embodied understanding of the human form.

Briley’s movement journey began in the world of classical ballet, where years of rigorous training laid the foundation for a professional dance career launched in 2010 with Atlanta Ballet. Her path carried her through Nevada Ballet Theater and Ballet Tucson, and into the realm of contemporary dance in 2015 as a founding member of push/FOLD. Over the course of a decade with the company, she helped shape its voice from within, culminating in her role as Rehearsal Director from 2023 to 2025.

Movement continues to be her lens and language, informing her presence as a model and actor and guiding her role as a Movement Director on film and photography sets. Most recently, Briley stepped behind the camera, producing Steven Cady's short film “The Hands of Another”—a project that premiered in spring 2025 and marks the beginning of a growing passion for cinematic storytelling.

Offstage, Briley channels her fascination with the human form into Counterpoise Pilates, a business dedicated to functional movement and embodied wellness. Whether training athletes, guiding injury recovery, or helping everyday movers reconnect with their physical selves, she brings the same intuitive intelligence that defines her creative work.

Briley’s artistry is rooted in discipline, but it is her curiosity—and her belief in movement as a transformative force—that keeps her evolving. For her, movement is more than a craft; it’s a language of feeling—a way to process, to connect, to remember—and it continues to shape how she creates, teaches, and moves through the world.
